Curt Gowdy State Park
Curt Gowdy State Park has seven sections of richly varied landscapes, flora and fauna decorate the foothills of the Laramie Mountains. Named as an “Epic” trail system by the International Mountain Bicycling Association, Curt Gowdy State Park features more than 35 miles of well-marked scenic trails for mountain bikers and hikers of all ages. Quebec 01 Missile Alert Facility State Historic Site
Built in 1962 as a Minuteman missile launch control facility, Quebec-01 was re-purposed for the Peacekeeper Missile in 1986 and was used until 2005. This site is significant as the only accessible Peacekeeper Missile Alert Facility left in the world and will preserve and interprets the Cold War history of the late twentieth and early twenty-first centuries, fostering an understanding of the mission and duties of the personnel and crews assigned to work there.
