The daily Wild West Tours will acquaint you with the colorful stories surrounding Cheyenne’s legendary past with lively narration provided by our veteran conductors during the 90-minute tour in air-conditioned trolleys. Departing from the Historic Depot in the heart of downtown, this loop tour goes through Cheyenne's historic districts while stopping by seven of Cheyenne's great attractions.

Curt Gowdy State Park has seven sections of richly varied landscapes, flora and fauna decorate the foothills of the Laramie Mountains. Named as an “Epic” trail system by the International Mountain Bicycling Association, Curt Gowdy State Park features more than 35 miles of well-marked scenic trails for mountain bikers and hikers of all ages. For those who love the water, the park features three reservoirs: Granite Springs, Crystal and Upper North Crow. These beautiful waters offer up a variety of fish species, while boaters can enjoy untamed recreation from a different vantage point. Wintertime provides a change of pace where ice fishing becomes a popular sport. Spring and summertime provide adventure to campers who love the outdoors.

Old West heritage museum exhibiting a wide range of Cowboy, Native American & military artifacts. The 18,000 square feet Museum is designed to house more than 20 exhibits, both temporary and permanent, in 11,000 square feet of gallery space.
The Nelson Museum is dedicated to the preservation of fine Cowboy and Native American objects as well as fine Western art. Rodeo, Cowboy and Native American objects comprise the largest part of the Museum's collection of more than 10,000 artifacts.

Built in 1962 as a Minuteman missile launch control facility, Quebec-01 was re-purposed for the Peacekeeper Missile in 1986 and was used until 2005. This site is significant as the only accessible Peacekeeper Missile Alert Facility left in the world and will preserve and interprets the Cold War history of the late twentieth and early twenty-first centuries, fostering an understanding of the mission and duties of the personnel and crews assigned to work there.

One of Cheyenne's most unique attractions! Take a tour on one of Terry Bison Ranch's custom-built trains to see ostriches, camels, a huge bison herd, and actually hand-feed the bison! Tours are every day except Christmas Day.
Stop by the Trading Post gift shop for unique gifts, bison meat, and activity sign-up. The ranch also has a RV park and cabins available all year. The seasonal restaurant, Senator’s Steakhouse serves bison burgers and steaks.
